We drove to Osan Air Force Base about an hour away to go to their festival. I am so glad we did. The Air Force really knows how to treat their families. First of all, everything, except food, was free...bouncy houses, glo sticks, hats that light up, clowns that made balloon animals, face painting, light up wands, entertainment, etc. The weather was pretty crappy but it was fine. It rained but not the whole time and it stopped for the fireworks. The fireworks were really good and they played music and video to go with them, which I like. Gabi and Jacob had a great time and we met up with Tammy, Eric and their son, Ethan (Gabi and Ethan go to school together) so that made it fun too. The entertainment was really good and Jacob didn't stop moving his feet the whole night, stealing the show from some of the performances. Gabi was off and running in all the bouncy houses and slides. It was so weird to let her go play while we finished our brats. I can't believe my little girl is so big. She still can act like a baby, though. We spent the night on base in the hotel and at 5:30 am we were all in the full bed together. In other words, we didn't get much sleep. They passed out on the way home and we spent the day at the pool with Daddy since he had another day off. Very busy weekend. Jacob went to bed Monday night, after a night of not much sleep and then full day at the pool, at 7pm and woke up Tuesday morning at 11am. Poor little man!
